Project Detail

Burrum District Respite Centre located in Howard is a purpose built facility for the elderly and disabled to enjoy social activities and socialise in a safe environment.

The centre has an administration office, games room, large kitchen, tv/lounge room and amenities and is set on landscaped grounds including an environmental waste water treatment system.

The centre was opened in January 2011 with government officials and local dignitaries. Construction commenced in August 2010 and was completed in November 2010.
